Real results and realistic expectations — what the change actually looks like, and when it shows.

A before and after photo is usually the first thing you look for. So let us be honest about what one can, and cannot, tell you. A good photo can show a genuine change in skin quality: more hydration, a softer light coming off the skin, smoother texture. What it cannot do is promise you the same result. It is someone else's skin, someone else's age and starting point, often shot under flattering and consistent lighting. This page sets out to do two things, then. It shows you what a skin booster before and after actually looks like in Dubai, for men and women, and it tells you what is realistic before you book. Here is the short version: expect a subtle skin quality change that builds over a course, not an instant or dramatic one.
Caption pattern for each image: "Skin booster result after a course of sessions. Consented image, photographed under consistent conditions where possible. Results vary between individuals."
The change you see in these images builds over a course of sessions. It does not appear the morning after one appointment. In most cases the clearest difference shows up after the second or third session, which is exactly why the timeline further down matters more than any single frame.
You are looking at skin quality, not volume. The honest read of a good before and after is better hydration, a healthier glow, smoother texture and softened fine lines, photographed under consistent lighting where possible. What you are not looking at is a changed face shape or added contour. Lighting, angle and camera all change how any before and after reads. That is why results vary between individuals, and why a photo is a starting point rather than a guarantee.
What you have just seen is one person's result, photographed honestly. The only way to know what your own skin could do is to have it looked at in person.
This is the part that settles the most common worry, so let us get to it early. A skin booster injection before and after is a change in the quality of your skin, not in its shape. Skin boosters are microinjections of hyaluronic acid and related actives into the dermis. Hyaluronic acid attracts and binds water, which drives hydration and a plumper feel. Skin boosters also stimulate fibroblasts, the cells that produce collagen and elastin, and that gradually improves firmness, elasticity and texture. The result is natural and subtle by design. It is not a dermal filler, which is used to add volume or change contour. Want the deeper definition and how skin boosters differ from filler? That lives on our blog. For the overview of the treatment itself, see our skin booster service page.
This is the honest schedule. Onset is gradual, and every window below is typical rather than fixed, because skin varies from one person to the next.
Most clinics skip this part. It happens to be the most useful one. Immediately after treatment you may have small injection papules or bumps, mild redness and mild swelling at the points where the skin was treated. This is normal, and it usually settles within 24 to 48 hours. Bruising can also happen, especially under the eyes and on thin skin, and it tends to resolve within 3 to 7 days.
None of this is the result. It is short, mild settling, and the actual change is what shows later in the timeline above. Dubai life is heavily photographed, so here is the practical takeaway: plan a course several weeks ahead of a wedding, Eid, a milestone birthday, a work event or a trip home, and leave yourself a buffer of a week or two before any occasion where you will be photographed or seen up close. As a rule, do not try a new treatment for the first time the week of a fixed date.
One session is not a switch that flips. Skin boosters work as a course, typically two to three sessions spaced two to four weeks apart. A single session starts the hydration and glow. The clearest before and after, though, usually appears after the second or third session, which is why the gallery results are course results rather than one appointment.
The right product depends on your skin and your goal, and the result type differs from one to the next. Each link below goes to the full detail.
Results are temporary by design, and how long they hold depends on the product rather than on any single fixed figure. Bioremodelling products such as Profhilo (IBSA) and polynucleotide products such as Rejuran (PharmaResearch) tend to hold a longer result than a single session hyaluronic acid treatment such as Juvederm Volite (Allergan). Maintenance simply means rebooking every few months, with the exact interval depending on the product you choose and how your skin responds. For prices and packages, see our skin booster cost page.
The honest before and after is a subtle skin quality change: better hydration, a healthier glow, smoother texture and softened fine lines. It is not a dramatic change, and it does not add volume or alter your features. It reads well both in photos and in person, because what changes is the quality of the skin rather than its shape. Results vary between individuals, and they are temporary.
This suits men and women equally, whether your goal is glowing, hydrated skin or simply looking less tired and more rested. Your starting skin, your age and your routine all shape the outcome. So the realistic answer to "will mine look like this" is found by assessing your own skin, not by copying a photo.
